Pyongyang, October 4 (KCNA) -- A new era of great changes, the new world of the cultural efflorescence of socialism idealized by the DPRK people, is open in the DPRK under the leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK).

With the progress of the project for 50 000 flats in the capital city, new streets have been built every year, rural houses peculiar to regions in different parts of the country, thus radically changing the appearance of the socialist rural community, and such monumental edifices as the Kangdong Greenhouse Complex, whose modernity, cultural character and practicality are fully ensured have been built, adding happiness to the people.

All these are a precious fruition of the political idea of believing in the people as in Heaven and devoting itself to their wellbeing and the spirit of making selfless, devoted efforts for the good of the people by the WPK that regards the work for the promotion of their rights, interests and wellbeing as the most important state affair and spares nothing for them.

It is the firm will of the WPK that even the sky and land should be transformed for the good of the people.

The past ten-odd year-long journey is shining as the immortal course in which the leadership of the WPK which has turned countless difficulties into great victories for the good of the people has been clearly demonstrated.

The WPK built a socialist paradise on the areas hit by natural disasters in the spirit of making selfless, devoted efforts for the good of the people, safeguarded the people's wellbeing from the worldwide malignant epidemic and built many production bases conducive to improving the people's living standard.

Today the WPK is setting a higher goal with no satisfaction from the work for the good of the people and attaining it successfully.

It advanced the Regional Development 20×10 Policy to make the people enjoy a rich and civilized life as soon as possible and has accelerated the construction of regional-industry factories in different parts of the country.

It has simultaneously pushed ahead with the construction of modern public health facilities, sci-tech dissemination bases and grain management facilities.

The DPRK people's faith that they do not fear any disaster and difficulties but the day when they are well off is sure to come as they are led by the great Party is a precious truth learnt in their life, not from books.
