Pyongyang, October 23 (KCNA) -- Political parties and organizations and personages in different countries made public statements and articles to mark the 79th birthday of the Workers' Party of Korea.
The New Communist Party of Britain and the Korean Friendship Association UK in a joint statement stressed that the party-building cause of Juche pioneered and advanced by the great leaders Comrade Kim Il Sung and Comrade Kim Jong Il is being creditably carried forward by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un .
The general secretary of the Communist Party of DR Congo said in a statement that the DPRK could make an eye-opening development despite the worldwide political upheaval and unprecedented difficulties as the WPK has invariably uplifted the banner of socialism.
The chairman of the Russian Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK and the chairman of the Russian Association for the Study of the Juche Idea in their statements praised the exploits of President Kim Il Sung for Party founding and the glorious course of the ever-victorious WPK.
The chairman of the Socialist Party of Romania in an article titled "Party serving the people" said that the WPK has made selfless, devoted efforts for the good of the people for nearly 80 years, regarding the people-first principle as its political idea.
The chairman of the Supreme Council of the National Socialist Party of Romania in an article titled "The lifeblood of the WPK" said that Comrade Kim Jong Un is uniting all the people as one with the scientific line correctly reflecting the requirements of the reality and opening up a phase of turn and a broad avenue to prosperity despite the worst difficulties.
The general secretary of the Struggle for the Peace and Socialism of Italy in an article titled "Congratulations to the 79th founding anniversary of the WPK" praised the undying feats of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un who has developed the WPK into the steel-strong ranks advancing by dint of ideology and unity.
Meanwhile, the chairman of the Italian Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea made a speech titled "Root of Workers' Party of Korea" through radio Citta Aperta on the occasion of the founding anniversary of the WPK. He referred to the historic roots of the WPK and its popular character and steadfast stand for independence against imperialism. -0-
