Foreign visitors to Pyongyang Baby Home and Orphanage express their unanimous admiration saying that the orphans of our country are the blessed, indeed, as they are under warm love and care of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

Pyongyang Baby Home and Orphanage, standing on the bank of the picturesque River Taedong, are another epitome of the genuine features of our-style socialism where the precious dreams and bright future of all the children of the country are translated into beautiful reality.

They are the crystallization of happiness born by the benevolence of the motherly Party which takes warm care of the orphans, sparing nothing for the children, the masters of the future.

With noble outlook on the posterity, the respected General Secretary promised to build new baby home and orphanage in Pyongyang in February, 2014, and made sure that the buildings were located in the best place.

He dispatched a capable guards unit of the People’s Army to the construction and guided the planning of the layout in detail.

He also inspected the construction site in person and gave attentive teachings to let the buildings be equipped with flawless living environment.

Thanks to such benevolent fatherly love of his, the one and only palaces for orphans were built within a little over four months.

When he visited the completed baby home and orphanage in October, 2014, the respected General Secretary said to provide such nice homes for orphans gave him as much pleasure as to pluck a star from the sky. He gave instructions as for the teachers to enhance their responsibilities and role in bringing up the orphans well.

For the past decade, the happy laughter of orphans has rung out endlessly from there.

Each element of the baby home and orphanage including the playground, nature study room and traffic park was a touch of the benevolent fatherly care and a garden of happiness where the children’s beautiful dreams and hopes come into full bloom.

The orphans were provided with fish, meat, foodstuffs, manufactured goods and fruits every day and received presents of love.

Since the enforcement of the Party’s childcare policy, the orphans, like all other children of the country, have received nutritious dairy products and thus grown healthier.

The officials and teachers of the baby home and orphanage did their best to bring the orphans up as successors to the revolution.

They adopted superior methods of education and edification suited to the characteristics of the orphans and made constant efforts to improve the management of their health, nutritive conditions and treatment and prevention work.

In this process, the baby home and orphanage produced exemplary teachers and distinguished themselves as models among their counterparts.

The orphans who trained their talents in excellent conditions and environment for education displayed their various skills and liveliness in several national contests of children.

Pyongyang Baby Home and Orphanage full of the orphans’ happy laughter will convey the love of the great motherly Party for long.
