North Hamgyong Province is consistently pushing ahead with the land management.
In Puryong County tens of thousand cubic metres of river dredging and embankment filling were carried out with the mobilization of powerful construction force, excavators and lorries. In Kilju County all the dangerous spots in regions and rivers were found out to finish the river improvement and anti-landsliding projects at an early date.
In the city of Kim Chaek and Onsong County trees were planted in a qualitative way according to proper climate and soil conditions to expand the areas of forest of wild fruit trees, timber forest and oil-bearing forest.
In Musan and Orang counties the technical reconstruction of roads was actively promoted and bridge repair project done with success. This year, officials and working people in the province have carried out the bank revetment and tree planting along hundreds of kilometre-long rivers, improved the roads technically and repaired dwelling houses and public buildings in quality.
