Enthusiasm for studying through online education network grows stronger day by day in the DPRK.
More and more people apply for online education as it gives lectures irrespective of the scope of contents, time and place, and helps understand sci-tech problems arising in production instantly.
The number of students at the online education faculty of Pyongyang Han Tok Su University of Light Industry has increased year by year to over 10 000 now.
Among the students are officials of industrial establishments, scientists, technicians, lecturers, workers and honoured disabled soldiers.
The dean of the faculty said that many have graduated from the course and a considerable number of them are now doctors, masters and inventors and that many of those who will soon graduate are already called treasures in their units as they are good at applying what they have learned to practice.
Having keenly realized the advantages of online education, the Taedonggang Foodstuff Factory, Songdowon General Foodstuff Factory, Taedonggang Brewery, Pyongyang Children’s Foodstuff Factory and many other units encourage their employees to apply for online education.
A worker at the Taedonggang Foodstuff Factory said with regard to online education:
“Whenever I come across a difficult problem, I go to the sci-tech learning space and have real-time chatting online, through which I find an answer to the problem. This is the pride in studying while working.”
Wherever you visit and whoever you meet, you can feel the soaring enthusiasm and will of working people to study hard to acquire more scientific and technological knowledge, thereby contributing to the prosperity of their country.
