National presentation of technical experience and exhibition of scientific research findings in field of agriculture held

A national presentation of technical experience and exhibition of scientific research findings in the field of agriculture took place at the Grand People's Study House between November 21 and 28 under the sponsorship of the Academy of Agricultural Science.
It was held under the theme of "Sustainable Increase of Agricultural Productivity, Stable Development and Scientific Farming". It was aimed at widely disseminating and sharing the successes and experiences made in the field of agricultural production and scientific research across the country and thus making an active contribution to attaining the grain production goal set forth by the Eighth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea.
The presentation was divided into 12 sections including crop raising sections Nos. 1 and 2, seed section and pomiculture section. Over 950 papers and experiences were submitted to the presentation and more than 7,700 exhibits of over 860 kinds presented to the exhibition.
Present at the closing ceremony held on the 28th were officials, scientists, teachers and postgraduate students in the field of agriculture and scientific and educational institutions including the Agricultural Commission and the Academy of Agricultural Science.
Ri Chol Man, Vice-Premier and Chairman of the Agricultural Commission, made a closing address.
Certificates and prizes were awarded to the excellent organizations and presenters.
