South Hamgyong Province built the solar power station flawlessly to put the power production on a normal basis, true to the policy of the Workers’ Party of Korea on easing the strain on power by making an effective use of natural energy.
Under the guidance of the provincial Party committee, the provincial people’s committee mapped out a plan related to the construction of the power station in a realistic way and kept the securement of building materials, solar panels and power poles ahead of others.
And the committee solved the technical problems arising in building the solar power station in cooperation with the scientific research groups of Kim Il Sung University and Hamhung University of Hydraulic Engineering.
Officials and working people mobilized in the construction conducted in quality all work including the installation of solar panels and electric transformation equipment and arrangement of the network of transmission and supply of electricity by introducing valuable technical innovation schemes, thus building the solar power station in a short span of two months.
Meanwhile, the province is now pushing ahead with various undertakings for normalizing the power production and expanding the capacity of electricity production.
