The Culinary IT Company has developed new apps and updated its database in an effort to help improve and promote the local dietary life and culinary culture.
The company has built up its database by adding more information about national foods in terms of kind, nutritional value, culinary method and statistics of raw materials, as well as lots of data about world-famous dishes in other countries.
In addition, it has produced multimedia on a regular basis to disseminate culinary knowledge while promoting the traditional culinary culture online at home and abroad.
Domestic Culinary Brochure 2.0, an online hit that introduces common cookery knowledge, covers a wealth of culinary methods divided into categories and themes, and deals with common knowledge about dietary life and cuisine.
The app finds great favour with cuisine experts and housewives as it provides over 800 videos of home cooking of health-promoting foods, traditional dishes and local specialities, profiles and cuisines of more than 2 700 dishes, and 300-odd culinary tips and knowledge on over 120 compatible and incompatible foods.
“We will develop more good apps with such pride that we are taking the lead in promoting the country’s culinary skills and culture,” said An Song Il, director of the company.
