As already known, the G7 and the EU decided to provide a loan of US$ 50 billion to Ukraine with the profits generated from Russia’s assets frozen under the sanctions on Russia.
Consequently, US$ 20 billion has been credited to the World Bank according to the U.S. Treasury Department. They crowed over the coincidence with the expenditure made by the EU, and the UK, Canada and Japan, the member states of the G7.
The U.S.’s brazen seizure of other’s assets is provoking due backlash and stronger reaction from Russia.
Condemning the U.S.’s act as blatant robbery, Russia warned that in case the frozen fund of Russia is transferred to Ukraine, it will take a countermeasure of utilizing the profits from the assets of the Western countries frozen in Russia for the economic development of Russia.
