Voice of Korea has reported the news of uninterrupted and vigorous construction of structures for the people in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea throughout the year 2024.

New streets were erected in capital city, the third-stage 10,000 flats in the Hwasong area are taking their remarkable shapes, thousands of dwelling houses for workers were built in the Komdok area, a mountain gorge town, people moved into new houses in the rural areas across the country, the areas hit by unexpected flood were completely changed beyond recognition and the city of Samjiyon is being developed into a typical mountainous city in the northern part of the country and a characteristic combined four-season mountainous tourist resort.

Voice of Korea also reported the news that monumental structures for improvement of the people's living were erected in many places and the large-scale construction for the ten-year revolution for regional development is in full progress across the country.

2024 witnessed a golden age of construction.

The successes, however, were not achieved when everything was sufficient.

Kil Song Chol, Section Chief of the Construction Headquarters of 50,000 Flats in Pyongyang Municipality, and Song Yong Ok, Worker of the Taesong Trade Guidance Bureau, talked about the cradles of life being built under the wise leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un and the happiness of the Korean people living in them. They said:

"This year the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un saw the blueprints of the third-stage project in the Hwasong area and gave specific instructions on distributing all structures to be convenient for the people's living and building them to be flawless even in the distant future."

"When I told my childhood friend about the streets which have been changed beyond recognition, she said that her mother and younger brother received a new flat in Rimhung Street and that the state built new flats in spite of the worldwide calamities and provided one to an ordinary teacher's family free of charge. Listening to her, I recalled the days when I was living in a foreign country. Such an event is unimaginable in that country. Seeing many foreigners envy the happy Korean people, I made up my mind to write articles on my great country."

As Voice of Korea has reported, Kim Jong Un made tireless efforts for the people, guiding the construction projects on the spot all the year round, including the city of Samjiyon, the Wonsan Kalma coastal tourist area, the Sinpho City Offshore Farm, the damage rehabilitation in North Phyongan Province and the regional-industry factories in Songchon County.

The golden age of construction could be ushered in in 2024 thanks to the leadership of Kim Jong Un who devotes himself for the people's well-being.
