The state affairs have been paralyzed and the socio-political chaos further expanded in the Republic of Korea along with the consecutive cases of impeachment unprecedented in history after the "December 3 Emergency Martial Law Case" and the issue of a warrant for the arrest of the puppet President Yoon Suk Yeol.
Impeachment motion againstYoon Suk Yeol was passed at a session of the puppet National Assembly on December 14 last year. And on the 27th, even the puppet Prime Minister Han Tok Su who was concurrent acting President was impeached.
The opposition parties impeached Han Tok Su for the main reason that as the acting President he didn't approve the "Special Prosecution Law on Rebellion" for criminal investigation into Yoon Suk Yeol, the chieftain of the rebellion, and furthermore, refused to appoint three judges at the vacant seats of the Constitutional Court that would make a final decision of Yoon's impeachment.
On the other hand, the Office for the Criminal Investigation into High-Ranking Public Officials demanded the arrest of Yoon Suk Yeol who did not accept the demand for investigation and when it received an arrest warrant from the Court, it made clear that it would forcibly execute the arrest within the term of validity until January 6.
After the extra-large case of rebellion which disturbed the whole of the Republic of Korea, underhand moves of puppet Yoon Suk Yeol and remnants of rebellion and acute confrontation and secret feud among the ruling and opposition parties seeking partisan interests are intensified in that country day by day.
The impeachment motions against President and acting President were passed in succession for the first time in the history of the constitutional government, the impeachment of the next acting Presidents is expected and even the warrant for the arrest of President was issued. After all, the Republic of Korea has fallen into disorder, where the political function has been paralyzed.
People from all walks of life in the Republic of Korea expressed their stand to launch the candlelight resistance without a moment's letup until Yoon Suk Yeol, the chieftain of the rebellion, and his accomplices are condemned in the court of history and public sentiment.
Large-scale candlelight rally, demonstration, grand march of citizens and other protest actions are staged in Seoul every day in the new year, too.
