The people of Jangphung County grandly celebrated the inauguration of regional-industry factories.
Those regional-industry factories are a crystallization of the sacred people-first idea of the Workers' Party of Korea and the outlook on Korean-style development.
An inaugural ceremony of the regional-industry factories in Jangphung County for the "Regional Development 20×10 Policy" took place on February 1.
Present there were officials and working people in the city of Kaesong and Jangphung County, soldier-builders and employees of the new factories.
Kim Yong Gyu, Chief Secretary of the Kaesong Municipal Committee of the WPK, made an inaugural address.
He said the consecutive birth of the first precious entities of the new regional industry revolution is a proud fruition of the energetic leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who regards the people as his God and devotes himself for their well-being, and an inspiring event proving that the annals of great excitement when the regions change and prosper have been ushered in.
He ardently called on the entire officials, party members and working people in the city to charge forward to implement the decisions of the Eleventh Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the WPK and thus make a genuine contribution to glorifying this significant year marking the 80th founding anniversary of the Party as a year of great victory to be specially recorded in the history of overall development of our state.
A speech was made by Hong Song Il, Chief Secretary of the Jangphung County Committee of the WPK.
Officials of the new factories cut the inaugural tape.
After the inaugural ceremony, the participants looked round the factories.
A performance was given to celebrate the inauguration of the regional-industry factories, conspicuously decorating the day of great event.
That evening, fireworks were set off in the night sky of Jangphung County, adding to the joy and emotion of the people.
