The education support program Kkoma Paksa 2.0 is gaining popularity among parents as it has proved effective in developing the intellectual capacity of primary school students and kindergarteners.
The program was jointly developed by the State Academy of Sciences, Pyongyang Teachers Training College and Moranbong Kindergarten in Moranbong District of Pyongyang.
Its game mode is designed to develop the right brain of children and help them have an understanding of algorithm, the basis of IT education.
In addition, the evaluation mode displays the performance of children according to their time of study and level so that parents can easily know their children’s intellectual level.
“The application is well suited to the psychology of children. My daughter Yong Jong is a kindergartener. To develop her memory, imagination, thinking and other intellectual abilities, I have her study using the program every evening. I can see her level improving day by day,” said Ri Myong Hui, living in Neighbourhood Unit No. 5 in Janghyon-dong, Moranbong District, Pyongyang.
