A meeting to hear stories about virtues of the great leader Kim Il Sung was held by agricultural workers and members of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea at the Songsin Vegetable Farm in Sadong District in the city of Pyongyang on the 7th in celebration of the 77th founding anniversary of the Korean People's Army.
Present at the meeting were Han Jong Hyok, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea, officials concerned, officials of the union and agricultural workers.
Ri Yong Chol, Vice-Chairman of the Central Committee of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea, told the main content of the reminiscences "The Korean People's Revolutionary Army Strengthened and Developed into Regular Revolutionary Armed Forces under the Warm Care of President Kim Il Sung".
He dwelt upon the immortal army-building exploits of Kim Il Sung who regarded the founding of a powerful regular army as an essential requirement for building an independent sovereign state after national liberation and founded the KPA, the Juche-oriented revolutionary regular armed forces, in less than three years with his outstanding ideology and energetic leadership.
Speeches were made.
The speakers said Kim Il Sung is a peerlessly great man who saved the destiny of the country and nation and founded the people's army from scratch, and stressed that our revolutionary armed forces are fully demonstrating their might all over the world as an invincible revolutionary army under the leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.
They expressed their resolve to work hard to attain the grain production goal set by the Party without fail.
