The Flower Festival-2025 has opened with due ceremony on April 13 in the April 15 Children's Flower Garden on the occasion of the meaningful April holiday.
The festival, with the theme of "Beautiful Spring, Our Beautiful Life", has brought together flower research and production units in Pyongyang and local areas, some institutions, enterprises, organizations and flower fanciers.
Displayed at the venue of the festival decorated with various plant sculptures and ornamental plants are various kinds of flower plants, products made with flowers and tools used in the field of horticulture presented by more than 200 units and fanciers across the country.
Present at the opening ceremony were officials concerned, participants in the festival and working people in Pyongyang.
At the ceremony a speaker expressed belief that the festival would add pleasure to the people greeting the auspicious April spring holiday, boost social interests in floriculture and make a positive contribution to turning the whole country into a socialist paradise where all sorts of flowers are in full bloom.
At the end of the ceremony the participants looked round the venue of the festival.
During the festival, a public presentation of experience and other technical exchange and flower-serving activities will be conducted.
