Construction campaigns are conducted simultaneously and consecutively on an unprecedentedly large scale in all parts of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

They are the construction of 50,000 flats in the city of Pyongyang, the rural housing construction, the construction of regional-industry factories, the construction of modern hospitals and leisure complexes, the construction of grain management facilities, the construction of the largest-ever greenhouse farm and vegetable science research centre, the construction of the Onpho Working People’s Holiday Camp, the construction of the Ragwon County Offshore Farm and so on.

Those construction projects are prioritized and absolutized in the DPRK which regards the conveniences and interests of the people as the first standard of all the work.

In order to provide the people with an affluent and civilized life, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un proposed such huge construction projects and advanced them as important policies at major meetings of the Party and the state.

On February 6, 2025 he attended the groundbreaking ceremony of a hospital and leisure complex in Kangdong County for the "Regional Development 20×10 Policy" and dug the first spadeful of earth to signal the start of the construction project, ardently calling for fighting more courageously and more vigorously to achieve the great ideal of our people and the victory of our cause.

He expressed his steadfast will to provide the people in the regions with a happy life as soon as possible at the groundbreaking ceremony of the largest-ever greenhouse farm and vegetable science research centre on February 10 and at the groundbreaking ceremony of the Ragwon Country Offshore Farm on February 14.

He attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the fourth-stage project to build 10,000 flats in the Hwasong area on February 16 and gave field guidance to the Pyongyang General Hospital on February 27, the construction site of 10,000 flats at the third stage in the Hwasong area on March 15 and major service facilities built in the third-stage district just before their inauguration on April 3.

On April 15, he took part in the inaugural ceremony of 10,000 flats at the third stage in the Hwasong area and said he was firmly determined to take upon himself more tasks for the people while seeing the citizens full of emotion and joy and wished them happy life in good health in the new houses.

The happiness of the Korean people grows day by day thanks to Kim Jong Un who gives top priority to and absolutizes their interests and conveniences.
