Pyongyang, June 10 (KCNA) -- Pak Thae Song, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and premier of the DPRK Cabinet, made a field survey of various sectors.

At the construction site of 10 000 flats at the fourth stage in the Hwasong area where a great campaign for creation is being waged to more splendidly turn the capital city of Pyongyang into an ideal city for the people, the premier encouraged the builders who are expanding the successes in the project with a single mind of loyalty to translate the noble intention of the Party Central Committee into a brilliant reality.

At the central wholesale exchange market under construction in the Hwasong area, he heard a detailed report on the project progress made by construction units and on the finishing project plan, and took necessary measures.

Making a round of the Taedonggang Battery Factory, the premier called upon its officials and employees to boost the output of batteries with various purposes widely used in economic construction and people's living and to push forward with the work of developing and producing more new-type batteries more practical and efficient in cooperation with scientists and technicians of relevant units in a planned way.

At the Pyongyang Pig Farm and the Hadang Chicken Farm, he stressed the need to hold fast to the four links of the stockbreeding development, including putting the breeding on a scientific and technological basis and improving the veterinary and anti-epizootic work, to increase the production of pork, chicken and eggs and thus make a positive contribution to improving the diet of Pyongyang citizens.

The field consultative meetings discussed the issue of preferentially ensuring the transport of materials for the construction of flats in the capital city and intensifying the drive for economizing in materials and the issue of steadily increasing the productivity and quality of various kinds of batteries and dynamically putting the stockbreeding sector on a modern and scientific basis, and took measures for them. -0-
