There are wonderful children's palaces in all parts of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
One day in May 2019, the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un visited the 1,000-ri Journey for Learning Schoolchildren's Palace in the city of Kanggye.
While looking round different circle rooms in the palace, he dropped in at the Taekwon-Do circle room. Taekwon-Do is the orthodox martial art of the Korean nation.
That day, looking with an air of satisfaction at the children vigorously performing Taekwon-Do movements in the circle room, he beamed all over his face, saying their movements are really great.
After a while, he asked officials where the Taekwon-Do circle was seeing video programs.
It stemmed from his deep concern for the circle members to widen their eye by disseminating science and technology on the expertise through various video programs.
Lecturer Ri Jong Sun at the Korean Revolution Museum said Marshal Kim Jong Un gave precious instructions on the work of the palace that day, and continued:
"The respected Marshal Kim Jong Un said there is no room specially provided for showing video programs on Taekwon-Do to its members and the programs are shown on TV in the circle room. Originally, there should be a TV hall on each floor so that members of every circle can sit together to watch video programs, he added.
He continued that the hall should be equipped with a large-screen TV and chairs to make the circle members watch necessary video programs by the hour, by the day and by turns."
Watching the training of the circle members, Kim Jong Un was concerned to provide them with an extracurricular educational base fully equipped with all conditions.
It is his intention to do every work for the children on the highest level.
