Pyongyang, June 18 (KCNA) -- It has been four years since the childcare policy for our posterity, the pride and hope of the socialist country, was discussed and decided as the most important policy at the Third Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.
A hundred and dozens of dairy cattle and goat farms have been newly built or reconstructed on an expansion basis, milk production lines and milk production rooms built in all the cities and counties, and a well-regulated system of production and supply has been established to supply dairy products to the children.
The officials, scientists and researchers of relevant units, including the State Academy of Sciences and the Academy of Agricultural Sciences, have organized national passing-on technique meetings and demonstrations on the sci-tech problems arising in increasing the number of dairy cattle and goats and milk production and creating grass fields.
Some regions and many units worked out the plans to build a large-capacity dairy cattle and goat farms in the areas favorable for stockbreeding and reconstruct the existing stock farms on an expansion basis, and have stepped up the projects, making architectural designs and ensuring manpower and materials.
The work to produce quality dairy products with their own efforts and technology and supply them to the children in their regions has been conducted across the country.
Thanks to the devoted efforts of the officials and the working people, a large area of pasture has been newly created throughout the country as compared with 2021 and the number of cows and goats increased to steadily boost the production of dairy products.
The dairy production and supply units across the country have made successes in increasing the quality and output of dairy products and building storage facilities.
All cities and counties and thousands of units across the country have been newly arranged with dairy production lines and rooms, furnished with the equipments for producing spray-drying milk powder and yoghurt to regularly supply the children with dairy products of which hygienic safety is guaranteed.
While seeing the brighter and more cheerful faces of the children, the people across the country are looking back with deep emotion on the ever-increasing loving care of the great Party Central Committee, and expressing thanks to it. -0-
