The Kumkhop General Foodstuff Factory for Sportspeople is a famous factory which turns out a range of tasty foods.
The factory exhibits traditional foods at its sample products hall.
On display there are the models and pictures of some of its products like rice cake, confectionery and drinks of various kinds, and the explanations on their making processes so that the visitors can learn the historical course of their development. All the items are exhibited in such a way as to ensure scientific accuracy, order, vividness and three dimensional effect.
In particular, the models of jolphyon (fancy rice cake), glutinous rice cake, songphyon (half-moon-shaped rice cake), swiumtok (fermented rice cake), tasik (patterned savoury cake) and kangjong (fried glutinous rice cake) are almost identical to their real ones in size, shape, colour and textual effect to the admiration of the visitors.
Visitors to the factory say that the hall gave them a deeper understanding of the tradition of the fine food culture of the nation.
