Pyongyang, May 28 (KCNA) — In late March, the highest science and technology prize of the DPRK was awarded to five research achievements conducive to establishing production processes at regional-industry factories and offshore farms, and more than 20 officials and scientists of various universities and scientific research units, who played a key role in carrying out the project, received the certificate of the February 16 Science and Technology Prize.
A research group of Kim Il Sung University developed an integrated production system for offshore farm, which is of significance in increasing productivity and improving the management of marine ecological environment, taking into consideration the natural and geographical conditions of the relevant water areas and the marine ecological environment conditions.
By developing and building an integrated production system of our own style, it opened up a prospect for putting the whole processes ranging from the management of breeding grounds to the maintenance of ecological environment at offshore farms on a higher scientific basis.
