Pyongyang, June 2 (KCNA) -- The Central Cadres Training School of the Workers' Party of Korea and Party schools in Pyongyang and provinces (municipalities) had various political and cultural events on the occasion of their 80th founding anniversary.
Commemorative meetings were held at the relevant units.
Present there were officials of the Central Committee of the WPK, ministries and national agencies, Party and administrative officials in Pyongyang and each province (municipality) and the teaching staff and students of the Party schools.
The reporters said that the 80 year-long history of the Party schools is a glorious course in which they have trained the genuine revolutionaries, the Party's core elements firmly defending and implementing the revolutionary idea of the leader in the annals of the revolution to faithfully support the cause of the WPK.
They noted that in his immortal classic works such as "On Further Improving the Work of Training Party Cadres in Conformity with the Requirements of Modeling the Entire Party and the Whole Society on Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism", the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un provided important guidelines for strengthening the work to train Party cadres and advanced the five-point Party-building orientation in the new era to usher in a heyday of strengthening the WPK.
They called upon all the teaching staff and students to display their extraordinary revolutionary enthusiasm in the education, scientific research and study and thus live up to the great expectation of the Party Central Committee with loyalty.
Through lectures and seminars, the teachers and students grasped the ways for glorifying forever the immortal exploits of the peerlessly great men in the field of training Party cadres and for achieving bigger successes in education and study.
Also, there were exhibitions of education science achievements made in teaching and management of the Party schools for the past five years.
The teaching staff and students gave art performances with their pride of greeting the significant 80th founding anniversary.
There took place football, volleyball, tug of war and other sports games. -0-
