Pyongyang, June 2 (KCNA) — The Sogam Children’s Camp marked its 80th founding anniversary.
The 80-year history of the camp is associated with the warm love of the peerlessly great men who provided the schoolchildren with the best extracurricular education bases and showed great benevolence so that they could fully enjoy happiness with nothing more to desire in the world.
The great leader Generalissimo Kim Il Sung unfolded a plan for building a children’s camp after the liberation of the country, personally chose the site for it, clearly indicated the orientation of construction and solved the problems arising in its management and operation.
The great leader Generalissimo Kim Jong Il saw to it that the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea sent a congratulatory message to the camp on the occasion of its 50th founding anniversary and its officials and employees were awarded high state commendations, showing repeatedly great love and care for them.
The history of the great leaders’ noble love for the rising generation is still given steady continuity under the care of the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un.
Thanks to the great love of the fatherly Marshal who puts forward the work for the younger generation as the most important affair of the Party and the state, the camp has been remodeled and all conditions necessary for the cultural and emotional life of campers have been additionally provided.
