A European regional seminar on the Juche idea "Sovereignty, Independence and New International Relations" was held in Sofia of Bulgaria on the 8th on the occasion of the 76th founding anniversary of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
Present at the seminar were the Director General, the Secretary General and councilors of the European Society for the Study of the Juche Idea, the chiefs of Juche idea study organizations in the region, members of the delegation of the Secretariat of the International Institute of the Juche Idea and personages of broad stripes of Bulgaria.
Attending it through video conferencing were the Secretary General of the International Institute of the Juche Idea, the Deputy Director General of the European Society for the Study of the Juche Idea and Juche idea followers of different countries including Russia, Italy and Serbia.
The seminar introduced the congratulatory messages sent by the Asian Regional Institute of the Juche Idea, the African Regional Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea and the Latin American Institute of the Juche Idea and heard the congratulatory speeches made by the Secretary General of the International Institute of the Juche Idea and others.
A keynote report was made by the Director General of the European Society for the Study of the Juche Idea, which was followed by speeches.
A letter to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un was adopted at the seminar.
The letter said the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il authored the Juche idea and developed and enriched it and emphasized that the achievements made by the Korean people in the struggle for defending the sovereignty and independence of the country under the leadership of His Excellency Kim Jong Un powerfully encourage the world people advancing toward anti-imperialist independence.
