New modern regional-industry factories have appeared in Kosan County, Kangwon Province of the DPRK, when the first entities of the Workers’ Party of Korea’s policy on regional development add shine to the true picture of Korean-style socialism.
The successful completion of the wonderful regional-industry factories in a pomiculture area, turned into a socialist fairyland with a sea of apple trees at the foot of Chol Pass, enables the county to radically improve the inhabitants’ living standards and develop the regional economy in reliance on the solid foundation of regional industry as well as developed pomiculture.
The inauguration ceremony of the regional-industry factories took place on January 29.
Paek Song Guk, chief secretary of the Kangwon Provincial Committee of the WPK, addressed the ceremony.
He referred to the great efforts and ardent love for the people shown by the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un , who determined to bring about a great change called the comprehensive development of regional industry unprecedented in history, has energetically guided the work to produce perfect and wonderful creations in the year when a gigantic construction project started.
The participants in the ceremony recollected with deep emotion the great benevolence of the General Secretary, who made a new history in fruit farming, visiting their area associated with the leadership exploits of the Party several times and laid a solid foundation for the prosperity and development to bring about a radical improvement in their material and cultural life.
Pak Ryong Bok, chief secretary of the Kosan County Committee of the WPK, said that with the noble mission that it is entirely responsible for all the work of the county, a regional base of the country, the county Party committee would make sure that the regional-industry factories, provided by the Party with much efforts, keep the production going at a high rate year after year to make the regional people fully enjoy the benefits of the Party.
Officials cut the inaugural tape on behalf of the employees of the new factories.
Confetti was thrown and balloons floated up, decorating the ceremony.
Artistes of the provincial art troupe gave a performance to celebrate the inauguration of the regional-industry factories built in Kosan County.
After the ceremony, the participants went round the factories with automatic and scientific production lines.
Fireworks were displayed to significantly decorate the auspicious night when modern light industrial bases were inaugurated to contribute to the promotion of people’s well-being.
