Oratorical Meeting Held in DPRK

An oratorical meeting took place at the People’s Palace of Culture on Friday to celebrate the 83rd birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il.

Present there were Ju Chang Il, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, Jon Kyong Chol, vice department director of the C.C., WPK, Sung Jong Gyu, minister of Culture, and officials and working people in Pyongyang.

At the oratorical meeting, the performers highly praised the noble revolutionary career of Kim Jong Il who devoted his all to the beloved country and people and performed immortal exploits in the history of the country and the personality of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un as the peerlessly great man who ushered in a heyday of the DPRK’s overall prosperity with his rare idea and theory and gigantic leadership practices.

They impressively depicted the noble traits of the peerlessly great men who adorned the Korean revolution with a great history of comradeship, making their revolutionary soldiers enjoy an eternal life with their noble moral obligation that no one can have in the world.

They said that the future of the DPRK is rosy as it is led by Kim Jong Un who regards it as the greatest honor to shoulder everything that is for making the people live with pleasure and promoting their well-being.

They called for demonstrating to the whole world the mightiness of great Kim Jong Un’s Korea, saying that workers should be pioneers and masters of making miracles in the struggle for increased production, peasants patriotic those who reap a good harvest and sportspersons patriots who fly the flag of the DPRK in international games.

Performance of Youth Art Squad Given in DPRK

A performance "We will carry on the march started from Mt Paektu" of the art squad of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League was given at the Central Youth Hall on February 13 to celebrate the 83rd birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il.

Among the audience were Han Kwang Ho, vice department director of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, Mun Chol, chairman of the SPYL Central Committee, officials of the youth league and youth and students in Pyongyang.

Put on the stage were colorful numbers including songs praising the great man whom the Korean people sang with great pride and self-esteem in the glorious era when they enjoyed boundless happiness, holding the peerlessly great sage in high esteem as the leader of the revolution.

Through a prelude "A Dear Name", a poem reciting "Our General and Youth", a mixed trio and chorus "Shine, Jong Il Peak" and other numbers, the performers highly praised the undying feats of Kim Jong Il who paid deep attention to the youth work and firmly trained the young people into reliable backbone of the Juche cause and successors to the revolution with his warm love and trust.

The song and dance "Dear Father" and other numbers well represented the ardent reverence for the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un who is cultivating a flower garden of all blessings to be enjoyed for all ages on the firm foundation of believing in the people as in Heaven, regarding it as his absolute mission to achieve the prosperity of the socialist country, the greatest patriotic legacy of the peerlessly great men, and improve the people’s well-being.

The performance ended with the poem choral recitation and finale "We will carry on the march started from Mt Paektu", "Glory to General Kim Jong Un" and "My Country, Powerful Mother". It well showed the revolutionary enthusiasm of the young vanguard to hold Kim Jong Il in high esteem forever and vigorously push the victorious advance of the Juche revolution, true to the ideas and leadership of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea.

Performance Given by Workers’ Art Group in DPRK

The workers’ art group of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea gave a performance "We will realize the fatherly General’s desire for a powerful nation" at the Central Hall of Workers on February 13 to celebrate the 83rd birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il.

Among the audience were Min Sung Chol, vice department director of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, Pak In Chol, chairman of the GFTUK Central Committee, trade union officials and workers and trade union members in Pyongyang.

Amid the ardent yearning and boundless reverence for the peerless patriot and benevolent father of the people, put on the stage were colorful numbers including female solo "Glory of Our Life".

The performers sang the song "A Dear Name" with the unanimous loyalty of the workers and trade union members to hold Kim Jong Il in high esteem forever and the place was seething with the warm atmosphere of praising the great man.

The atmosphere of the performance was revved up by the mixed quartet "My Country, Powerful Mother", male solo and pangchang "We Are Koreans" and other numbers, which added to the high pride of being a citizen of a powerful country guided by the greatest man.

The performance ended with chorus "Dear Father". It well showed the revolutionary will of the workers and trade union members to demonstrate the might of the elder sons of the country and vanguard ranks in the sacred struggle for more courageously ushering in the era of comprehensive national prosperity, true to the leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

Celebration Meeting of Agricultural Workers Held in DPRK

Agricultural workers and members of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea (UAWK) met at the Hall of Culture of the Kangdong Greenhouse Complex on February 13 to celebrate the 83rd birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il.

Present there were Kim Jong Sun, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, officials concerned, officials of the UAWK and agricultural workers.

Han Jong Hyok, chairman of the Central Committee of the UAWK, made a report to be followed by speeches.

The reporter and speakers said that the agricultural workers and members of the UAWK across the country are solemnly recollecting the sacred revolutionary career of Kim Jong Il on the occasion of the greatest auspicious holiday of the nation in the stirring period when the national power and the prestige of Juche Korea are shining on the highest level and a new era when the regions change and a new turning point of the comprehensive national rejuvenation are being ushered in.

They said that thanks to February 16, birthday of the peerlessly great man, the DPRK people could be blessed with illustrious leaders and brilliant commanders generation after generation and could firmly defend the revolutionary cause of Juche, the socialist cause and achieve only victory and glory despite manifold ordeals and difficulties.

They noted that the immortal exploits of Kim Jong Il are shining more brilliantly as the eternal treasures firmly guaranteeing the steady advance and development of the DPRK and the happiness of posterity under the wise guidance of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

They stressed that Kim Jong Un set forth a grand programme for the rural revolution and the Regional Development 20×10 Policy for bringing about an epoch-making change at the rural areas and thus opened up a new era of comprehensive national rejuvenation.

They called for making all efforts to attain the goals of struggle set forth at the Eleventh Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the WPK, true to the idea and leadership of Kim Jong Un, and thus glorifying this significant year marking the 80th founding anniversary of the WPK and the 80th anniversary of national liberation with high yield.
