One day in January 2015, during his inspection of the RyuwonFootwear Factory in thesevere cold ofmid-winter, the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un paid close attention to the quality ofproducts.
Acquainting himself with technical innovations made at the factory in the room dedicatedto its history, theGeneral Secretary saidthat the factoryshould introduce new technologies properlyand give priorityto design in order to produce quality footwear withthe development of thetimes, and that it should producefootwear favoured by people, those for different purposesand those preferred bypeople.
After taking a pair of cotton-padded shoes for children from the display stand to estimate their weight, theGeneral Secretary pointedto the need for the field of the shoe-making industry to consistently adhere to the slogan of “Make footwear light!” and detailed ways toimprove the quality of footwear.
That day, looking round production sites, the GeneralSecretary gave instructions for making footwearconvenient and took benevolent measures to modernize the factory tobe able to mass-produce world-class trainers.
Indeed, the General Secretary continues the journey ofdevotion to the people,sparing nothing in providing them with the best thingsin the world.
