One rainy day in August 2021, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea, visitedthe construction site of the Pothong Riverside Terraced Houses District despitethe dreadful weather.
After hearing a report on thesituation of the project, he wore a big smile on his face, saying that greatprogress was made in the construction of the Pothong Riverside Terraced HousesDistrict.
That day, the respected General Secretary called at a dwelling house.
He expressedgreat satisfactionover the fact that the interior of the house was very wonderful after looking roundthe study and bedroom and seating himself onthe chair at the mirror stand. And he saidthat now the Pothong Riverside Terraced Houses District took shape, there was not such a modern houses district inthis place 140 days ago and weshould make decisions for the well-being of the people oneby one responsibly, looking ahead into the future of 140 years as we built the modernterraced houses district on this vacant lot in a little over 140 days.
Thanks to the noble intention of theGeneral Secretary, the peerlessly great man, that we should make the most responsible decision not only for today but also for the distant future, if it were for the good ofthe people,and his heartfelt sincerity for the people to provide them with the best things and the most civilized and brilliant creations in theworld as soon as possible, wonderful houses the people have never imaged even in their dreams are springing up on this land.
Indeed, 140 days and 140 years mirror the noblest outlook on the people andthe future of the peerlessly great man.
