Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea, proposedbuilding a modern chicken farm, took revolutionary measures to that end and ledthe project in detail. One day in July 2020 he came to the construction site ofthe chicken farm in the Kwangchon area despite the scorching heat.
After learning in detail aboutwhether there was no source of pollution in the vicinity and about thecondition for providing feed, the General Secretary clarified the detailed principledproblems arising in the construction of the chicken farm, including the one ofmaking all production processes automated on a high level.
And on January 7 2024, he inspectedthe wonderfully built Kwangchon Chicken Farm. Looking with satisfaction at thefarm provided with full sets of modern equipment automatically controlling allprocesses ranging from the regulation of temperature and humidity to lighting,feed supply and excrement disposal in the breeding houses, he learned about theproblems arising in the production and management of the farm.
That day he earnestly saidthat in the future highly modern chicken farms like the Kwangchon Chicken Farm shouldbe built in all provinces and that it would be better if each city and county havesuch a chicken farm.
Thus the Kwangchon ChickenFarm was wonderfully built as a model and standard of poultry farming in thecountry thanks to the fervent affection of the great father who gives priority tothe improvement of the people's living standards among all affairs of thecountry and spares nothing for the people.
