Third International Anti-Fascist Meeting held in Russia
Speech made by KPA delegation head
The Third International Anti-Fascist Meeting was held in Moscow of Russia on April 30.
Present at the meeting were military delegations of different countries including the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Russia, Belarus and Viet Nam, members of the military attaches' offices of embassies of over 40 countries in Moscow, and representatives of the Russian government and armed forces organs, political parties and public organizations.
The congratulatory message sent by Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, President of the Russian Federation, to the participants in the Third International Anti-Fascist Meeting was read out and speeches were made.
The head of the delegation of the Korean People's Army made a speech.
He said that 80 years ago, the Soviet army and people defeated the fascist Germany threatening the existence of humanity and made a decisive contribution to defending the global peace and security.
He clarified the consistent stand of the DPRK government to keep exercising its self-defensive sovereign rights proudly to cope with the dangerous confrontational behaviour of the hostile forces trying to revive fascism in the Asia-Pacific region and make an active contribution to establishing an independent and just multipolarized world order without domination, subjugation and hegemony.
The meeting was followed by a reception for the participants.
