Receptions, meetings, films shows, book and photo exhibitions and other colorful events took place at the DPRK missions in Shenyang and Dandong of China, Vietnam, Laos, Mongolia, Singapore, Iran, India, Cambodia, Kuwait, Thailand, Pakistan, Germany, Romania, Bulgaria, Belarus, Sweden, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, the Czech Republic, Nigeria, South Africa, Algeria, Egypt, Ethiopia, Equatorial Guinea, Mexico, Brazil and Venezuela, and the DPRK permanent mission to the UN Office and international organizations in Geneva and the DPRK permanent mission at the UN from April 8 to 22 on the occasion of the 113 th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung .
Present there on invitation were personages of governments, parliaments, political parties, organizations and institutions of relevant countries and foreign diplomatic envoys in those countries. Officials of the DPRK missions were on hand.
Screened at the film shows were a film dealing with the noble personality of the President as a great man and videos showing the proud appearance of the DPRK ushering in a new era of the comprehensive development of socialism under the wise leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un and the invincible spirit of Juche Korea which has emerged victorious with single-minded unity.
Speeches were made at the events.
