Recently, the High Representative for Foreign Affairs & Security Policy of the European Union threatened to reject Serbia's bid to join the EU if the country's leader comes to the May 9th Victory Day Parade in Russia. Russia strongly denounced such threats.
Regarding the remarks of the High Representative for Foreign Affairs & Security Policy of the European Union, the Speaker of the State Duma of Russia said that the chief of the European diplomacy should first be dismissed from her position, then be brought to the International Court of Justice. The mad person with a strong Russophobia promised “consequences” for any EU members and candidates who attended Russia's 80 th Victory Day celebrations – an ultimatum no less, the Spokesperson said.
Reminding that an act banning the revival of Nazism was adopted in Russia, the spokesperson said that the time will come when Kallas and the like are held accountable for their actions.
Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova also strongly denounced such a remark saying: “If this is the case, then Euronazism is being revived before our eyes.” She then continued:
“80 years ago, this is how the fascists forced those who were considered ‘second-class citizens to abandon their homeland, ethnicity, and faith.”
