The Tenth National Children's Football Tournament came to a close, which had opened in May on the occasion of the 79th founding anniversary of the Korean Children's Union.
Its closing ceremony was held at the Songdowon International Children's Camp on June 1.
Present there were officials concerned, officials of the youth league, footballers and schoolchildren in the city of Wonsan.
At the men's and female final matches of the tournament held before the closing ceremony, the players displayed the football techniques they have practised at ordinary times and high spirit of collectivism.
The first place was taken by the men's and women's teams from the city of Pyongyang, the second place by the men's team from South Phyongan Province and the women's team from South Hamgyong Province and the third place by the men's team from South Hamgyong Province and the women's team from South Phyongan Province.
Citations, cups, medals and prizes were awarded to the winners.
A speech was made at the closing ceremony.
