First Vice-Chairman and Director of the Organization Department Pak Ku Ho made a report on the first agenda item of the 26th Congress of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan(Chongryon) "On the Review of Work of the 25th Term of Chongryon and the Tasks of the 26th Term".
He said that the 26th Congress of Chongryon is a congress of loyalty, patriotism and unity of officials of Chongryon and other Koreans in Japan to put the patriotic movement on a new stage of development by thoroughly implementing tasks outlined in the important letter sent by the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un on the occasion of the 70th founding anniversary of Chongryon and a congress to make a new milestone in the history of the Juche-oriented movement of Koreans in Japan.
The reporter dwelt upon the review of the work of Chongryon in its 25th term, upon setting the period till the 80th founding anniversary of Chongryon as a new struggle period, upon the main tasks of Chongryon in its 26th term, and upon decisively strengthening the driving force of Chongryon as required by the new struggle period. He called on the deputies to the 26th Congress to fulfil their honorable mission and duty in the struggle to achieve the overall development of the movement of Koreans in Japan with the patriotic might of the compatriots as the one and only motive force, keeping the firm faith and will that the victory of the cause of Juche and the patriotic cause of Chongryon is a science as they are led by the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un.
