An oratorical meeting of workers and trade union members took place at the Central Hall of Workers on April 10 to celebrate the 113th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung .
At the meeting, the performers highly praised the noble revolutionary career of President Kim Il Sung , who made an untrodden sacred journey of revolution, regarding it as his lifelong motto to believe in the people as in Heaven, and the immortal revolutionary exploits of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un who is making a great journey of devoted service for the people for the comprehensive prosperity and development of the country.
They referred to the great loving care and benevolence of the President who built the first university of the people in the liberated country and clearly showed the road ahead of the university in each period and at each stage of the revolution and construction and developed it into a model university for training revolutionary talents.
They talked about the self-sacrificing devotion of the General Secretary who personally went to the dangerous flooded area to unfold a grand plan for providing the flood victims with a good base of life and energetically guided the rehabilitation work, adding that the Workers’ Party of Korea is the eternal embrace of all the Korean people.
The performers enthusiastically sang the song “Our Leader Beloved of the People” with their high pride and honour of being guided by the General Secretary who is glorifying the dignity and national power of the Republic on the highest level while devoting his tireless efforts to the country and the people with ardent love for them.
Present there were Pak In Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea, officials concerned, trade union officials and workers and trade union members in Pyongyang.
